Director of Youth Rugby at HRFC, Robert Leslie, takes home "Volunteer of the Year" award for rugby in Nova Scotia.
Our very own "Coach Rob" has deservedly taken home the "Volunteer of the Year" award for rugby in Nova Scotia at the 2025 Support for Sport Awards.
Rob has taken on his current role with HRFC with the same professionalism, caring and dedication that has come to define him throughout his rugby career, starting from his "humble" beginnings playing U-19 and U-21 rugby for England, to playing professional in the Premiership League with the Harlequin's, and some other team named Gloucester [don't ask me to pronounce it, he will just correct me]. While the crowds cheering for him may be less in numbers these days, the juniors and the HRFC family want to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude for all that Rob does for our club.

At HRFC Juniors, we offer a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment for boys and girls aged 4 to 18 to develop their rugby skills, make friends, and grow in confidence both on and off the pitch.
Our club is built on a strong community spirit, guided by experienced coaches and supported by dedicated volunteers and parents. We take pride in fostering sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork — values that last a lifetime.
